Shipping goods to Canada from UK
Anyone have any recommendations for companies to use to ship a couple boxes over to Calgary Alberta from South Yorkshire?
I am wondering if maybe packing a few boxes and paying for them on our flight or mailing them may be too expensive? I reckon we will personally pack our valuables with us on our flight but have some extra goods that we would need to pack and bring with us when we move back to Canada.
I am from Alberta and my husband is from South Yorkshire, where we have been living for the last year. Any help is greatly appreciated.

We moved to Alberta 2 months ago. We brought some stuff on the plane- checked in extra (large) duffel bags for just $40 and a limit of 23kg. Totally worth it.
We also shipped a few boxes over. Fairly large ish but not giant- weighing 26kg ish. We used Parcel 2 Go and after them sending the boxes to Canada then not even attempting delivery and sending them back to the Uk again without telling me it took me a month and a half to get my money back.
We then used Parcel monkey for almost the same price. They then arrived 5 days after we sorted that. It was just over £70 a box but didn't include any insurance at all (I took a risk!)
My husband is back in the UK in a few weeks so he's going to bring more stuff over as checked in luggage on the plane. We found that to be the cheapest and easiest option.

If you are flying Air Transat, consider sending the boxes as cargo on the same flight (but be aware you will have to clear customs etc., at a separate place across the airport, generally). They are quite reasonable.
