31st of August we've been told by our school secretary...seems a little odd as it is a wednesday...but it was a while back when we asked.

According to the Calgary Board of Education's 2005-2006 calendar for schools that follow a traditional calendar, August 31, 2005 is the date that school staff commence work. That is, if you wanted to visit the school office, you would be able to do so on week days from August 31st onwards (except for Monday, September 5th, which is the Labour Day public holiday).

Students start attending school on Tuesday, September 6, 2005.

That's great. Thanks for the replies guys.

We are deciding to just go ahead and book up and hope that CHC and the house sale comes through. We'd like to get out there in time for a proper reccie and holiday before the serious stuff starts!!! :D
