Depends when you are scheduled to leave the UK shores. We went to the exhibition but had already received our visas for travel the same summer (we went in March/May - can't quite remember). Had we gone to the show a year previously, we would have benefited a little more. There are some useful seminars on life in the various provinces with Canadian reps from those provinces (one from each) giving a short 10 minute lecture outlining the benefits of their respective areas. There is tons of useful information but you will also have to contend with hordes of sales folk, pretty people handing you carrier bags and leaflets etc. It's a good, if tiring, day out.
Since we had already processed much of the stuff we needed prior to leaving, the show was of little relevance (but we had tickets and were eager to see what the fuss was all about). We were also mildly surprised by the number of people wishing to leave the UK!
You'll find loads of info. One tip: if you have kids, leave them with family and you'll get to do a whole lot more. We had our little three year old in tow and it is far too exhausting for them (and parents).

Hope you find what you're looking for. The majority of the exhibitors are very friendly and approachable with very useful advice and one-time discounted deals on various things like packing supplies and shipping services, special exhibition only pricing etc.

Have fun.
Cheers,
Sid

Hi there
We've been twice and both times we've found it a worthwhile trip. The first time was for information and we collected loads and spent time afterwards ploughing through it. We knew where we were headed but hadn't all the answers. The second time was a lot more specific, getting more detailed info on removals, realtors, info on PNP from CHC.

It's really a good place to visit.

Elli :)

Hey Anthony,
With your respective professions, you'll be in demand. Everywhere we look there seems to be a shortage of medical professionals and the motor trade is pretty vast here, it seems.
Good luck.
Sid
