I've an in-transit package in the same boat (hopefully not literally). I've experienced this before where tracking goes dark once a Royal Mail package gets to Canada and then updates only when its delivered. Tracked stuff from China: no problem, tracking all the way.

I've found this when i was searching for the problem I'm facing right now. Usually, when partner companies taker over in other countries, tracking information goes dark. Sometimes thirdparty sites like aftership, <snipped link> or track my courier can help better. But they are still unreliable.
