River/beach/ocean Ice Photos
We stumbled upon this lot today (luckily, I had the camera with me).
The photos are in order of magnitude of risk that we took to get them. At one point I thought I was trapped in quicksand in the middle of the riverbed (the river water dammed by ice formations just in front of me).

The first couple were taken at the beginning of April a couple of years ago - we get the ice/pack ice coming down, just before the icebergs start coming. The last few were taken at the end of April when the bergs started appearing. I know Atlantic Xpat has some amazing iceberg photos he's taken when sailing.
