Also worth looking at the condo's notice board. Folk put for sale notices up all the time in our condo.

look at bloor/avenue area (student area) I have friends living there for $1200 a month, not amazingly big places but suit your needs

They are unfurnished. If you go into the various condo/apt buildings...there are quite a few on Queen's Quay...ask the concierge if you can take a look at the notice board. People often put furniture for sale on them...especially when they are moving out.

An option would be to rent furniture. Easyhome is a chain of shops that offers everything imaginable.

I got my previous bicycle from the kerbside on Lorne Park Road. I rode it to the office and chained it outside. It was stolen within a week.
