Renting in Okotoks?
 

Anybody rented through an agency called 121 Landlords Helpers Ltd or from Novalta Management?

Just want reassurance that they are bona fide. ::unsure::
We think we've found a house but not sure as neither are registered with the Real estate council of Alberta (thanks "Getting There" for all good advice on this!)

I have not heard of either property management company. Property management companies have to have at least one licensed realtor within the company and that person should be with the real estate council of alberta.

doing a google search on the two names shows nothing which is a real heads up that something may not be write.

In Okotoks there is Priaire Property management which i have dealt with before and are very reliable.

If you have an address for them in Okotoks, I can drop by and see if they are real. I go through Okotoks every day. Can also check on 'your house'.

Thanks both for the replies.

I have now had a proper reply from the agent, giving more details - apparently they are a small part of a larger group (with offices based in Calgary (one on 4th Street one on Elbow Drive) and the 'Novalta management company' is 2 private individuals who own the property in question.

So we dO have a house :thumbup:

Counting down the days now to the 26th when we fly!!! :thumbsup:
