Thanks Liz.....dogs would have great crack there alright...I have looked at this but dont want to be too rural at the start. Some nice places(old heritage homes) in Indian Head i would love to get. We still never heard from your mate in Castlewellan???

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all your advice on this one. I am waiting for the local Lethbridge boarding kennels and the humane society to get back to me, hopefully with encouraging news.

I'll let you know our dogs fate...

I don't know about Lethbridge, but I recently moved to Cochrane in Alberta which is a bit further north, and had a similar problem of trying to find a rental property that would accept our dog. I reckon it cut down our options by about 80%, but within a week of arriving in Canada we managed to find a place. I think if you keep looking and don't give up they are out there.

I know for me living here without our little doggy would have been unthinkable. Best of luck and I hope you find somewhere.
