has anyone ever dealt with rental agents in edmonton area

we have booked into a hotel for 1 week, dont know where to look to begin etc just looking for general pointers if anyone has been in the same situation as myself

i asked a guy i was with today and he mentioned the kijiiji, had a look but most are asking for referrences (something i have never had as always owned my own house)
