If you type television rental vancouver into google you will get at least three companies. There are several about. My only question is why? TVs are not expensive to buy and you'll end up paying about three times the costs if you rent.

i'm only in Vancouver for 4 months so renting seems the best option. I tried googling it but none of the links where actually any good none had websites or prices.

I understand now. The companies that come up on that search will be more long-term rentals - probably a two or three year contract. I don't know of any that rent for short periods, though I am sure there are some about. Maybe try furniture rental places. Another option might be to buy a used one. If you don't need a state of the art model you might be able to find something cheap on craigslist that you won't mind leaving behind.

Tons of students in Canada don't bother buying TVs as you can get most of the tv programming over the internet. Do you have a computer / laptop that would be a substitute?
