Renewing a UK passport in Edmonton

Does anybody in the Edmonton area know where to go to renew a UK passport, and how long it will take to process?

Apparently there's a bit of a backlog at the minute and it's taking 6 weeks to process application.

All British Passport applications are processed in Washington DC, it used to be Ottawa but that changed in the last year.

You can download the necessary forms. Sent mine on April 2, it arrived in Washington April 16, money taken on May 12, now waiting for delivery. So make sure you allow plenty of time before you travel.
