Real Estate Schedule A?
Hi All
Been looking at Property and come across one we really like but on the MLS website it states the following This home is being sold ' as is. where is' and has no property disclosure. Schedule 'A' to be part of Purchase and Sale. Could someone shed some light as what this means. Does it mean it hasnt had survey done? Thanks Chris |

Thanks Chris You can, for about $350, get a land survey done before you buy the property. |
Re: Real Estate Schedule A?
Schedules can be attached to any offer to purchase and they are used when the conditions are longer than can be fitted onto the offer to purchase, the first page is "A" the second "B" etc. They can be used for any purpose.
Normally though a "Schedule A" is used in a third party sale, Banks, Power of Attorney, etc., when the seller has no knowledge of the property, it outlines their (the sellers) lack of liability in the sale and adds conditions benefiting the seller. In Amydavid's case an old survey was attached to the contract and labeled "Schedule A". |
