Re-locate in Toronto
Hi Everyone,
Due to my partners position in work we now have the opportunity to live elsewhere out with the United Kingdom. We have looked into all available country's and Canada is becoming the more favoured option. We hope to visit just before Christmas to get a feel for the country and surroundings. We would like to move to the Toronto area. Are there any ex pat families that can give me an incite on living, schools etc. :fingerscrossed: |

Welcome to BE.
I assume if you'll be moving with your partners work it'll be a transfer? So this Wiki article may be useful - http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Intra-...ransfer-Canada Also have a look at the best way for you to get Permanent Residency if you're looking to stay longer term. And as Tangram says, the Wiki has loads of other info too. Good luck. |

Re: Re-locate in Toronto
what do you want from your local area? what age schools? do you need to work downtown? what's your budget? are there any facilities important to you?
toronto is a big old city - the question 'where's good?' is a bit open ended so if you provide a few more details, people will be able to narrow down their answers. |
