Re assurance would be helpful please

We Landed just under two years ago and now are ready to make the move over on sunday. Our furniture and items have been boxed up and are in storage ready to follow at a later date. We fly into Torronto on Sunday, as you can imagine nerves and emotions are in full swing. Can any one explain the process please we will go through once the plane lands in Toronto?

If you have already 'landed' you merely pass through passport control as usual showing your passport and PR card to the the nice bloke/woman.

You disembark the aircraft, wander through passport control, pick up your luggage, leave the airport, travel to your house or hotel, make a cup of tea, relax.

Thanks I thought the process should be easy enough:) Just sitting at moment with nothing to do but just wait. Have packed and repacked bags on account of weight allowance, can only do this so many times etc. :D Have a family dinner on Saturday evening (last supper as it may become reffered to)Kids in school till friday no point taking them out of school too early as they would have nothing to do but jump up and down on mum's furniture:sneaky: OH has two more days in work, will go and make myself another cup of tea:)

We have used Robinsons they were ok. Came on 18th took day and a half to pack stuff into four crates and it went off. We had boxed a few items up prior to them coming such as knicker drawers and personal stuff:). We have 30 days free storage then they start to charge per week after that. Our items will follow on Via Montreaul then train to Toronto. We plan to locate ourselves in Peterborough, seemed to stick out to us as an okay place to settle. We have done two recce trips over five years of planning. On the first trip we travelled along the 401 looking at places such as port hope, cobourg, peterborough, belleville, trenton, didn't like trenton as was stung by a waspy thing, and onto Kingston, then went back to peterborough for a 2nd look we liked the idea of the festival of lights etc, watched kids playing sports. On the second visit we went back to Peterborough and looked at houses, cars and schools the areas around Peterborough, Lindsay. Met up with some friends we had been chatting to over the internet. On the first trip, we had arranged to stay at guest houses/ bed and breakfasts thinking they would be like back home we found that they were more like houses than homes not good for young children that are a little lively.
