RCMP Processing times

Am I correct in thinking that the processing time for RCMP checks is 120 days! + delivery time if I get it to the UK?
Processing time for Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector checks | Royal Canadian Mounted Police
I guess I could be looking at the wrong category or check that I need but if not then I guess I'm S**t out of luck to get one in time for this years IEC.

Has CIC actually requested an RCMP check from you?

If not, I don't think it's required. Only PCCs from other countries.

You don't need one for IEC unless they request it.

I thought that you had to get police checks from all the places you had lived for longer than 6 months in the last 5 years or something when applying. Clearly my memory is terrible. Any rumours yet on when the IEC are releasing this year?

Even though lots of Brits and other nationalities believe Canada is somewhat backwards to their country CIC have the ability to do their own police checks using the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) data base administered by the RCMP.
On the odd occasion they will request one if your name and dob matches someone in that system.
As for the IEC opening date Im predicting early 2016.

I got into my car yesterday and was really annoyed I had lost my keys and was searching for a good 10 minutes before I realised I had already put them in the ignition . I'm quiet sure without people like you guys on the forum I would have long ago perished and the world would be a far better place.
