Radiation tech

I have heard that private clinics in the Vancouver are a do not require radiation techs to have CAMRT accreditation. Is this true? Are there any agencies for radiation techs as in the UK?

I dont know about BC but in Ontario you must be registered with the provincial college, this is the CMRTO and the equivalent of the HPC. I dont know what it is in BC.

I dont know why you wouldnt want CAMRT membership though, this is the equivalent of the SCOR, so without it you have no professional indemnity insurance. You must have passed the CAMRT exam to practise in Canada.
