A quick note to say hello.

Have been reading the site for many months now and thought its about time i joined in the fun. We are Mick and Kim, who are hopefully Calgary bound in August on a temporary work permit then through pnp. The only hold up is the sale of the house which we have accepted an offer on. Very frustrating but such is life.

Hello

- we too are off to Calgary , hopefully in August! The whole process is intensely frustrating to me, it seems just as you turn one corner another looms in front!

Best wishes

Hi Mick and Kim and everyone else on this thread who are moving to Calgary in August.

Hi and welcome from yet another person heading to Calgary in August! :)

My OH goes on 1st July to start work and me and the kids follow on 5th August. Seems like there will be some pretty full flights heading in that direction then!

Hope all goes well and good luck with the move.

Hi Mick and Kim,

Good luck with the house sale and the move over....

Same time we moved over last year and the weather lulls you into a false sence of security before the temps drop through the floor in October!!!!

Welcome to the BE.....

Cheers

Hi Paulie, (and all the others heading for Calgary)

We are also new to BE having now made the decision to make Canada our new home after years of thinking about it and many trips to Vancouver. The long Fed. Skilled Worker Program always put us off - now my partners job is on the Occupations Under Pressure list for AB so looks like that's where we will be heading - Now we need to find a job and an employer willing to assist with LMO to get WP (PR/PNP later).

What was your application process like? How long did it take etc?

Best of luck.
Rob.
