Questions asked at immigration

Hello Everyone,

We are traveling to Toronto in January for a few days, having our visa's stamped as landed immigrants(applying for pr cards) then returning(to sort some problems over here).
What questions are asked and what proof of funds do I require?

Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth they just believed what I said ... post 9/11 things have probably changed.

I know some of you people out there have landed more recently ...

I'm Canadian, living in the UK for the moment and when I return to Canada and go through immigration at the airport I usually get asked: "What brings you to Canada?, Where will you be staying while in Canada? Why have you been in the UK? What do you do there? How long will you be in Canada?" I also always get "How can you afford to travel back and forth?" I guess I give the impression I'm either dirt poor or younger than I am - I'll assume the later :D

Alternatively: "Are you made of money?"
