Qualifications

My Wife has a HNC in business administration. Can anyone tell me what a HNC equates to in Canada?

Thank you

Hi

I cant help you directly w.r.t HNC buisness administration but when I wanted to know the equivalent of my HND in Engineering I used International Crediential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS). Although I know now I could have used an engineering institute or the Canadian engineering council to assess the qualification.

The assessment of my HND (qualified in 1997) provided me with the following statement:

"summarised as a level of education comparable to an applied bachelor's degree awarded by an institution which is a member of the Association of a Canadian Community College".

I have the assessement statement below that qualification on my resume.

probably nothing, I am a uk qualified plumber and engineer and although my qualifications were physically reviewed by immigration to get me to Canada i found once I arrived they are not recognized and this has been a frustration. There may be ways around this though so dont give up
