Have you spotted the excellent wiki article on precisely this subject here:

Bottom line is that unless you are age 55 or older, you will not find a current Canadian provider who will allow transfers in from the UK. This may change in the course of time (thing at least months or maybe a couple of years).

As regards anyone with first hand personal experience, I will leave it for others to reply, but a search of threads will reveal a few who have enquired.

Hi Chipbutty,

There are currently 3 Canadian Providers on the QROPS list. If you need any further information you can visit their websites.
You can also do a google search for providers that can help with your transfer
try googling something along the lines of " UK Pension Transfers to Canada" which will bring up a list of providers in Canada that can help, or you could be more specific to the province you reside in for example "UK Pension Transfers to Canada - BC"
