To OP, what are you needing one for?

If the cable is removable from the device then you can buy a replacement cable from a store. Canadian Tire has kettle leads & figure 8 leads and The Source has figure 8 leads and three pin lead (used with most laptops).

That's mighty presumptuous of you dear Souvy. Wealth is very relative, especially when moving countries. I don't know how familiar you are with London's Elephant & Castle (pre-redevelopment) but the cost of a one-bed flat there would buy this. And probably leave with you with change in your poche.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. Mainly Desktop, printer, laptops, phone chargers but apparently our shipping container arrives today (!) so our UK extension leads should suffice until visitors come out from the UK & can bring us some. Apple Mac leads are typically expensive to replace....

You could try asking in the pub. I have heard quite a few Brit voices in there. Some folk may have gone through the same thing.

I think there is an electrical shop in Ottawa that may be of use. It specialises in European electricals. I've no idea what it's called. I think it's on Montreal Road, in Vanier.

As has been said, you can pick up replacement leads from places like the source, but that is likely to be more expensive than a travel adapter. You can also probably pick up a replacement charger from ebay.

I recently picked up a travel adapter from Zellers which was not too expensive.

Try Zellers, I'm sure I've seen travel adaptors there.
