Cant really say I am surprised. And most would likely also like to live on a fairly small geographic area of said province.

And the three that most people want to live in are where most people live. The three provinces with the highest population, anyway.
Funny thing, Alberta's close to BC's population but doesn't seem ahead of the other provinces.
Maybe it's my eyesight but I see only three distinct colours for BC, Ontario and Quebec and all the other provinces are the same shade as each other, making four. But there are supposed to be six.

I live in Regina SK, I meet a surprising amount of Brits fairly regularly but this place isn't for everyone for certain.
But driving out to the farm, then heading out to the lake is a pretty cool experience, especially ice fishing.

I would not want to live anywhere else. Love it here in my part of BC.
I don't know why people would want to move to an area of Canada that has a 5 month Winter.

Spectacular scenery but Vancouver is one of the most boring cities I've ever been to.

Clarify what you mean by "most" do you mean more than 50% , then yes , it is a massive city with a skewed immigration group (Chinese) compared to elsewhere in BC. Plenty of people move to VI, the Fraser Valley, the Okanagan, Kootenays- your implication is that it is completely Vancouver centric which it isnt.

Vancouver 79.5% (Greater Vancouver) or 28500 people
Victoria 4.4% or 1500 people
Abby/Mission 3% or 1100 people
Kelowna 1.7% or 600 people
Prince George 0.8% or 280 people
Nanaimo 0.8% or 280 people
Kamloops 0.8% or 280 people
Chilliwack 0.8% or 280 people
Fort St. John 0.7% or 240 people
Everywhere Else 7.7% or 2750 people
