Product Service Plan
 

Hi guys,

Anybody has any comments/ experience on getting PSP (product service plan)- extended warranty offered by Future Shop or Best Buy?
Does it worth the money spent?
Planning to buy a wide screen plasma TV and since it is a new technology thinking whether to get the PSP warranty or not... :confused:

Not worth it in my opinion, stores make most of their profit on these things, buy with a credit crad that extends the warranty for free.

Hi,

I wouldn't bother with a plasma. If your budget allows go for an LCD. Picture quality is better and are generally more reliable. With regard to the extended warranty, they seem a lot cheaper in Canada. I would be tempted on an expensive product but dont bother on cheaper items such as fridges, washers etc.
