Ah, at least I can say that my ten grand is buying time with a wonderful dentist. Competition in southern Ontario is rampant so dentists often offer promotions "pull three for the price of two", "free cleaning of upper teeth (with purchase of lower teeth cleaning)", "glow in the dark retainers at no extra charge" and so on. My dentist sticks to the "high price, no pain, appointments on time" model and I'm good with that.
