Pre-application (moving with kids)
My husband and I have been talking for a long time about moving to Canada.
Can anyone offer advice on moving with a young family? Children are 7, 5 and one on the way.
I am currently looking more into the practical side of things. We've been working in our respective fields a long time (I'm 37, I've been in my line of work for 20 years) but we don't have degrees/further education.
Is it better to get a degree before pursuing a move?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing to ascertain is whether you have a way to emigrate to Canada - no point in getting hopes up and getting excited if you can't qualify Perhaps start by using Christmasoompa's very useful post in our wiki, follow the steps then post back to our Immigration forum and someone will be along to advise!

What is it you do for a living? Perhaps check to see if there are jobs available and if you will need Provincial Certification to work here https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/career-pla...ch-job-profile - quite often people have to move to where the jobs are rather than where they would really like to, particularly if they need a job offer to be able to emigrate.
Research is good - so please feel free to ask any questions you have! (Immigration route questions should be posted in our Immi forum)
