PR Visas Today
Hi all
We are just back from CHC. We collected our PR visas today:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: What a long day - up at 5am to travel to London and queued for 2hours outside CHC (second in queue - heard some people at back of queue were sent away 2 weeks ago:thumbdown:). Couldn't believe how easy it was, gave receipt in, they handed envelope over and said "see you in Canada" and we were out the door in seconds. Sorry Connors, didn't see your thread until we got back tonight, would have said hi:D - Congratulations to you - won't be long now. Kept this a secret for 3 years, now we have to start telling people! In-law's are first tomorrow night!!!! Now they will know why we have been redecorating the house:lol: Thanks everyone for all your support. |

Our main blog below (not the weather one) will give you a little reminder of Calgary and surrounds and also covers a little smidge of Kelowna. Kind regards, Eamonn & Janet. |

Re: PR Visas Today
Its been so hard to keep. We didn't tell the children (13 & 14) until 18 months ago - its been killing them since!! To start with they had all sorts of stories from us as to why they need photographs etc!
They are telling their school friends on Monday. We thought best to tell some of the family first:eek: OH parents tonight, mine next weekend as they live in Cornwall - they made it easier for me by moving away a year ago, I don't feel so guilty now:) Its a great feeling to actually have them in your hands:thumbsup: |
