If you are flying Air Canada you should not have any problem.

OMG are you kidding :(

Hubbie flies back next week to start his job. We only landed five weeks ago, our PR Cards haven't even arrived at our friends in Toronto, never mind getting to the UK.

FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW. Someone please slap me and bring me some gin - HELP :(

Like I said, my husband had no problem landing without his PR card in Toronto. He took his confirmation of permanent residence and explained the circumstances and the immigration officer was fine.
Don't worry.

Did he have a return ticket though?

My hubbie only has one way....
