Power Engineers across Canada?

Hi there. I posted another thread in the other section so hopefully this one might provide me with a little more information.

As of May I'm going to be starting a 4 year advanced apprenticeship with EDF Energy to become an Electrical Engineer, working on the London Underground etc. Please note I do not possess a degree.

However I was curious to know from people in this line of work across the whole of Canada, although I'm interested in moving to Ontario there's never any point in ruling the whole place. I have looked into the PEO for Ontario, looks like a bloody nightmare.

So, any experiences, job problems, 'which route did you go through' and length of processing etc would be fantastic.

Alex
