post grad diploma

Does anyone know if a Post Grad diploma is recognised in Canada? Is it something they have heard of or use?
Thanks

A post grad diploma is very common in Canada and is recognized by employers. Many university graduates finish with a degree in general science, business or liberal arts. However they have no specific career training, as a result they will take a one or two year post grad program, perhaps at a university, but more commonly at a community college, where the focus is on training for a specific trade.

Using this link, under credential, filter for "Graduate Certificate" and you will find the hundreds of post grad diplomas available in the province of Ontario.

Excellent! Thank you. I'm finishing a PGDip in the UK now with the option to turn it into a Masters with another term. I'm just unsure if the extra aggro is worth it. Visual arts.
