Possible Meet and Greet in NS

Hi everyone.

Three weeks and counting until i come out to NS for reccie. Is anyone interested in a meet up. I fly out of Heathrow on Sunday 14th September and will be in NS Truro/Dartmouth areas from then until 26th September.

I am meeting with Margot at CORDA on 17th and am in process of arranging to meet potential employers for informal chats etc.

Would be interested in meeting anybody on here who is already in NS.

Let me know when, where etc, if interested. :D

Ooooo...this could be my first meet up as one of the locals rather than a visitor. I will be working by then but if it is my day off I will try to come along.

Hi Chris

Yes that would be nice we are staying for the first 3 nights in Dartmouth then moving all the way:) to Lawrencetown for the rest of the stay. OH found a self contained apartment right next to the ocean.:D
Lyn if you can not make a general meet up it would be great to see you again and get first hand all the tips and experiences on how to do the big move.
Anyone have any thoughts on where and when a meet could take place?

Not good with any suggestions I'm afraid, as we don't know the area, but are happy to meet wherever anyone else wants to (hopefully the tomtom can get us there, as my map reading is terrible!)
What realtor are you using to look at property? We are using someone who works with Jerry and Annette Murphy.

Hi
How about the Market place on the water front in Halifax easy to find as it is almost next to the ferry terminal time a day I am flexible.
Any one els up for it:thumbsup:
We are using the Murphys as well, they are going to be busy as OH has a long list of potential properties to have a look at:rofl:

Friday evening would be best for us I belive.
Hopefully we will be viewing house during the day and we do not know when we will be finished, so evening looks the most likely to be free.
Must remember lots of places close at about 7.30 pm so it can not be to late.

I have been to a couple of meet ups for lunch at the Lower Deck in the Historic Properties and they have always been very accommodating, moved tables to fit us all in etc.
