Ah! Now if you want cute, extremely convenient and VERY scenic, you would be hard pushed to beat Toronto City (i.e. the one on Centre Island)! I landed there once - what a great approach! Little chance of a transatlantic flight from there though!!!

Buffalo. People in Ontario who would like to see a well run airport of a manageable size should try the one in Buffalo. Beware though, if you drive down to Buffalo intending to spend the night and catch a flight to Europe (hotel for a night and parking for a fortnight being cheaper than parking for two days at the main Toronto airport) you may find yourself mesmerised by the fabulous food and low cost of everything to the extent of never wanting to come back to Canada.
