Petrol(gas) or LPG

Can anyone out there shed some light on LPG conversions. What with fuel prices going up is it cheaper to run on LPG in Canada. In England it's currently 38p/litre with conversions costing anything from Â£1500 unpwards.

I probably don't know the answer anyway - but what does LPG stand for?

Can't help i'm afraid except to say that i haven't seen many stations selling LPG, but then again i haven't been looking out for it and it might be more common in the more populated places.

It's common in Toronto, the airport limos, taxis and, I think, buses run on it. Can't help with the economics but availablity within the city isn't an issue.
