Are you serious? In any mall you find them. If not a booth then a human served place. Last time I saw it was at Zellers.

Another vote for Blacks, mainly as they provide rather good service, and know that different types of photos are different sizes, for example, British and Canadian Passport sizes are slightly different (if the size isn't different then I know some of the regulations for them are), and Canadian Immigration Photos have slightly different sizes to the passport ones. I've no idea why immigration and passport (ignoring British ones, different country, different rules) photos cannot be the same size.

There was a photographer in Drum that did them too - although i'm with you Caz - I hadn't noticed any booths either, so panicked until I saw this shop, went in and asked if they could do the passport pics and they did!

One vote down for Blacks, the price of their UK passport pictures was absolutely shocking when we had them done.

I think it was ~$100 for 4 sets or prints.

You can do them yourself with a digital camera, resize them and then take the pictures and get them printed at WalMart for around $1 per set of 4.

I'll second the good service. I thought I was going to have a complaint with them but they really stepped up -

We had our photos taken, brought them into the passport office and a few days later found out from the passport office that the images were too dark and couldn't be used. So we went back to Blacks prepared for an argument. They retook the photos for free (as they should) and refunded the cost of the original.

I was po'd with the problem to begin with but there are times when the way they handle problems is almost as impressive as everything going smoothly from the start.
