Who would we need to contact about park ranger jobs etc?
If you leave aside federal jobs, there may be opportunities with provincial agencies, regional districts and municipalities (e.g. Vancouver Parks Board looks after Stanley Park), not to mention private outfits in wilderness areas. Be warned that in these parts (BC) park ranger jobs seem to be very desirable (not sure about other provinces) but that maybe just the people I hang out with.

A lot of students get summer jobs and first dibs on jobs. That's the way a lot of the hiring is done.
