Will my application for immigration to Canada be in anyway affected by me being out of status in the US. Thanks.

Re: Out of status in the US HELP!!
Sometimes officers look at this in a negative light. If you have little regard for
the laws of that country, what would make an officer believe you would be law abiding in Canada? Courts have also decided that status alone cannot generally be the factor that decides the case. Also depends on what kind of application you are making. -- All responses IMHO and no one else's. Berto Volpentesta Member OPIC, Director OPIC Sidhu & Volpentesta Inc. Re: Out of status in the US HELP!!
It might as most immigration officers seem breaking the immigration law in any
country rather unfavorably. -- ../..
