Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked many, many time before. We have just been advised that our PNP application to move to NB has been approved.

Just about to send passports for visas to be endorsed. Just need the house to sell at the right price, and for the exchange rate to improve, (sorry but this will make things more expensive at your end!)

Has taken absolute ages to get to this point, but it now dawns that the real work is about to begin!

Is there one point of reference for a "to-do" list, so I can see what items are missing off the massive list I already have? If so, if someone could point me in the direction of that list, I would be grateful.

JonJib, welcome, and congratulations! When is it your hope to go approximately? We are off to Fredericton in the first two weeks of Aug 2012. The idea of all that we have to get done between now and then gets me hyperventilating. I feel so much happier though now since we, as a family, have all mentally committed to the move, we now have a date in mind and it helps tremendously.

Hi Millie, we have until 15/09/12 to activate the visas, so anytime between now and then really. It all depends on the house sale here, but ideally would be looking at spring or early summer 2012 but we have little control over that.

We are also looking to move to Fredericton, (until my wife fell in love with St Andrews recently!).

Good luck with your preps. They are daunting, but absolutely do-able.

Just wanted to add my best wishes, we moved from West London to Nova Scotia 3 months ago and are loving it. Yes, quite stressful at times but you've just got to keep focussed on the reasons you are making the move :)

I've spent quite a bit of time in Fredericton and it's such a nice place. Good luck with everything.
