Oracle 11i Functional Consultant
 

Hi,

I am a functional consultant of Oracle 11i with 19 years of IT experience and 23 years of Finance experience. I have completed two full cycle implementations in India.

I am planning land in Toronto by end of Jun-2004.

What is the job situation in Toronto for my profile.

I would like to request the seniors to give me advice.

Please kindly address the job situation in Canada.

I think you are in a good position...the job market is quite crap at the moment...but if you've got over 5 years commercial experience and you are qualified(eg, Oracle DBA) then you should have no problem in securing interviews...ofcourse, if there are jobs out there...

Also, if you have experience in DB2 etc it will be advantageous....

From what you've said, I think your prospects looks pretty good.
