Opening busienss in NS
 

Hi all just wondering if any members on this forum have opened there own business in NS. Looking to open restaurant or cafe style indian place. What would the best way for me to do this, then leading to PR.

Any advice would be gratefull.

You can invest arms length in a business without residency, but until you have legal residency in Canada you cannot work for it or in it. Opening a business such as a restaurant is not a shortcut to PR. You would be better to get PR if you can then think about opening a business.

Depends on your circumstances and qualifications:

Go through PNP
Get a job offer and apply through FSW
WP then apply for PR
Spousal sponsorship
Investor route

If your heart is set on NS and you have funds to open a business and keep it running for a year, then I would strongly suggest you investigate your options under the Community Identified Stream - probably the fastest way to PR in Nova Scotia - evah! ;)
