One way flights?

Hi, me and my partner are going to work in BC for 6 months and have applied for International Experience Canada visas. We're not sure the date when we want to come back but don't know if we'll have our visas before we go on March 10th. Does anybody know if we will get into the country on a way way flight if we have a fixed address there but no visa?

Thanks :)

Hi. Although I don't know the answer to your question, bear in mind that one-way tickets are sometimes more expensive than a return. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can get open ended return tickets too.

A one way flight is fine if you are going with a visa such as IEC otherwise it would be best to get a return where you'll be able to change the return flight.

As long as on an IEC and issued a work permit a one way ticket is fine bearing in mind what other posters have said regarding cost. Look at getting an open return or flexible return if worried about the one way or comparing prices.
