thats how long we have been living in Calgary since we arrived from the post modern Atlantis that was Gloucester, UK.......

Hi all, we are mark and helen and as the above says we have'nt been here long! we have already both found work and its all going great at the mo, looking forward to chatting to you guys and helping those in transition anyway we can.

That's good to hear - we agreed on a buyer of our house last night and now I have taken fright at the enormity of what we are doing! Have to remain calm and keep breathing:eek:

CONGRATULATIONS!

Now the nail biting starts! It is all such a weird situation - it doesn't somehow seem real:eek:
The whole process of the house sale and virtually taking your life to pieces in order to re-create it elsewhere is like nothing I have ever experienced before.
It isn't like moving just to another town in the UK.
I can't say I have actually enjoyed it - there have been too many ups and downs - but, hopefully we are almost at the final stages:)
THEN the fun will start:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Glad to hear you have settled well and got jobs. We are hoping to move to Vancouver Island but playing the waiting game at moment via sponsorship. Then we have two houses to sell......spending time at moment decluttering and getting them spruced up, as both of us just taken early retirment.:thumbsup: You are not missing much here in england, had no summer yet but i dont mind bbq ing in the rain :eek: Enjoy:D

Glad to hear everything is going well in the short time you've been in Calgary.

We're over ourselves next weekend for 2 weeks from Gloucestershire to get things sorted on the house build front :thumbup:
