We landed in October for a couple of weeks and immigration didn't want to see any paperwork...just stamped and let us through...took 10 minutes (Vancouver airport)
Sold house and finally moved permanently 2 weeks ago. My last week in UK was a mixture of excitement and nerves....more about leaving parents and sister, rather than what was in store for us...and starting a whole new life again. In the first week we have got bank accounts/credit cards/cell phones and a rented apartment....now just need a job...but hey, it's exciting to find out all the new things we can do and see, so good luck and enjoy it. When I first joined BE I used to ask the same questions, but now we are hear, it was much easier than we thought :-) |
