hi everyone iam hoping 2 get a job in the oilsands , any info would be great , iam in the uk at the momment but iam trying all the jobsites and any agencys i can find, just to hear from someone else would be good, cheers folks.:thumbsup:

Welcome to BE,I don't think there will be any difficulty for you to find
a job in Fort McMurray,however be aware that it is expensive,isolated and accomodation is hard to find there.Recently there was a

wow there must be something good about the area??.whats the chances of crane work else where , i was in alberta in 1995 with the army in wainwright it was abit slow but iam no hellraiser myself, are the wages not as good elsewhere in canada?? i am a bit put off with the whole drugs thing but then theres drugs everywhere in the uk these days.:confused:

You could find crane jobs all over Canada by using the job bank site.
The jobs are updated frequently on the site Canada wide.
We are going through mining( ground and offshore drillings)and housing booms .
Have a look and see what is appropriate for you. Good luck
