I see you're organising a meetup in NS between 22 May - 29 May. We are out there then.

We are just at the start of our Emigration adventure and see you are down the line of the CI Program, would really appreciate some experienced advice if you can spare the time.

BTW we're also from the Southwest.

Might want to pm that member - not sure if you mean Libby or LiffyB. I know LiffyB has got a thread about a meet up - I would reply on there if you want to get noticed.

Yes hoping to arrange a meet up for end of May - hoping to make some concrete plans in the next 2 weeks.

PM me if you want to know a bit more about our CI apllication, most of what you will need is on the forum but I am quite happy to answer any questions that you have as I think you will find most people are. We spent 3 years out in NS and are now hoping to return next year to Bedford our old home.

I am one of the interview panel and all I can say is........it will all go your way if you bring Frys Turkish Delight bars. But you didnt hear it from me.......:thumbsup:

You wouldn't be dropping big hints to bring Fry's Turkish Delight over with me now would you Miss Poppy2? already got Cornsih goodies to bribe the lady with at the RDA. So what with Twiglets , Revels, Marmite and an asortment of other goodies my suitcase will be a redcross parcel for every british expat in NS.

Tell me more of the Cornish goodies - OMG- pasties and clotted cream!!!!!! Am I the lady at the RDA?????? No? Arse.

It all rather sounds like you will be coming with a full case, but nothing to wear but a bikini at this rate!

It never ceases to amaze me how these threads go off on a tangent!

Growlers and clotted cream on the same plate now that's an interesting thought! I've got to bring (smuggle) clotted cream over for somebody who is into 'Thunder & Lightning' (Golden syrup and clotted cream sarnies - yum!):thumbsup:
