Good Lord, if you have a choice between visiting in Oct/Nov and March/April, go for the fall. March/April can be pretty bleak - wet, windy, cold, blustery and wet. Also possibly snowy. Leaves and green grass don't usually appear until late April/early May.

While it is starting to get cold by late October, you may get the tail end of the fall colours, and days are still more likely to be sunny. You will be able to walk around and explore in much more comfort.

Well if you have the choice go for Oct?Nov...not likely to get snow at that time of the year. It is usually cold and maybe some rain but never seen snow then. It will be cold so bring some woolies. It is nice to curl up infront of a nice fire in November... Oh an remeber Nov 11...Remeberance Day..it usually rains or gets a snow FLURRIE...thats it. The fall is the best time of the year.
