But where are you bats? Here in NS we have black bears. I've been told they're more scared of us than us of them unlike the brown bear... Or is it the other way around? Either way our bears are the timid kind... But I'm not going to take the risk just in case they're not friendly

They exist in the south-east States, the son of my neighbour goes and wrestles them bare handed.

Brown bear is another name for a big grizzly bear. Brown bears live by lakes and rivers and feed on fish and the protein allows them the grow bigger than their smaller (hahaha thats a joke) family members who exist moreso on fruit / berries.

Just an FYI for those that might not know!

Northumberland county, Ontario. These are black bears. I doubt they are scared of us, mostly just can't be bothered or have no reason to attack.
