Another Northern Ireland person here, except we're living just outside Edmonton. Been here 7 weeks and originally from Bushmills, Co. Antrim.

I'm not sure if this helps but regarding driver's licences...some of my mates from NI switched over their licences while in England so they would be accepted in Ontario straight away. I don't see what the difference is but I'm all for the path of least resistance!
