North American passport process centre

Anyone had to apply for a new passport to the processing centre in Washington DC, if so what did it cost in canadian dollars & was it a smooth process?

You pay in U.S. dollars:

The price is based on sterling though so should roughly be the same.

We paid around $250 CAD, and were really pleasantly suprised with the service, we got ours back within 3 weeks of sending them to Washington and that was in the run up to Xmas also. Price is high but what other options do you have!
