Trouble is that not all meds are covered by SA- in BC, they recently delisted several really good drugs I prescribe, 2 great ones for tricky to control BP.
As I said previously, I initially ask if they have benefits before prescribing certain costlier meds- not much use then if they change the effing goalposts - again, fine if the patients have benefits, if not then yet again I struggle to control their BP on cheaper meds which they more than likely were on but were changed onto the more potent drugs in the first place. :thumbdown: |

The system makes no sense at times.
One thing that used to crop up here is the delay between when a generic becomes available for use and when it's approved. I've not seen it mentioned for a while though, so maybe they improved on it. :unsure: |
