Nexus question

Hi,

I have a NEXUS card. If I am going to the states with friends, who don't have NEXUS, can I just use my NEXUS or do I have to take a passport as well? I am pretty sure I can just use NEXUS alone, but cant't seem to find it online.

I know I can't use the NEXUS lane as we don't all have NEXUS....

TIA

Re: Nexus question

You are able to use your NEXUS card at the land border whether you are in NEXUS or non-NEXUS lane. I always carry my passport just in case but have never been asked for it. I've travelled with myself on my NEXUS card and everyone else on passports and no one has batted an eye.

However - if you are a PR and not a Canadian citizen, you must carry your UK passport and present it together with your NEXUS at the border.
