Mind you, if you are using a dating agency to look for , finding an apartment on craigslist is the least scary of the two, I would have thought
We found a beautiful and perfect house for us on craigslist - so don't let one or two bad encounters put you off. Take the other posters' advice and all should go well.

That has a certain economy of effort to recommend it.

Hahahaha a girl with an apartment,a job for me,runs her own rugny team.don't think I'll find her in vancouver!
